This is a long-overdue update on what happened with Eternal Roots (and me) in 2018, and to give a preview of what's coming in 2019. I'm painfully aware that I haven't updated this blog in a long time, and I'll share the reasons why. 2018 was an upside-down year, and I felt compelled to step back and take a break the second half of the year. Rest assured, I will run Eternal Roots with renewed vigor in 2019.
Roots Tech 2018
I road tripped to Salt Lake City (from North San Diego County) last February to be an exhibitor at Roots Tech, a massive annual genealogy conference. I published a detailed article about the experience here. That was my last blog post of the year. Omitted from the article was any mention of the crisis I was enduring at home during the trip. I'll share about that below.
